How I’m Building a Self-Sustaining Ecosystem for SME Ownership and Growth

The Archimax Flywheel

I clearly need graphic design lessons, but here’s the big idea.


A few months ago, Archimax was just an idea:


Buy small, resilient businesses from founders looking to exit.

Grow them quietly.

Hold them forever.


But after sharing the launch on LinkedIn, I was surprised that what started as a personal journey quickly caught on.


From solo operators in Malaysia, Belgium, and the UK, to corporates in Dubai and Hong Kong, so many people have been reaching out. More than I expected. And many prefer not to go it alone, they want a platform, a system, and a community.


So the idea evolved…


I figured that if I’m going to do this for myself anyway, why not build a model that enables others to do the same, and scale it?


Now we’re building a loop that connects the dots:


1️⃣ Deals are sourced and vetted with the support of Archimax Global Solutions, which advises buyers on navigating acquisitions and get businesses set up for success after the handover.

After an LOI is submitted, we assist with negotiation, structuring, and execution.


2️⃣ Complementary financing may come from Archimax Private Lending, a new company I’ll be launching this summer.

The goal is to build a diversified loan book (and in some cases, equity participation) to fund de-risked, cash-flowing SME acquisitions, including our own through Archimax Global Holdings. Early commitments from aligned shareholders are already in (thank you!). (We’re being very selective, but DM if you’d like to learn more.)


3️⃣ Post-acquisition, support continues again through Archimax Global Solutions, with hands-on strategic guidance and shared infrastructure.


4️⃣ Cash flows back to the various stakeholders in the form of interest, dividends, and equity upside.


5️⃣ Meanwhile, a growing network of buyers, sellers, operators, and lenders begins to take shape.


And the cycle repeats. Stronger each time.


That’s the flywheel…

The better the inputs, the stronger it becomes. Each piece reinforces the next.


This wasn’t the original plan.

But it feels like the right evolution.


The SME market is full of opportunity, but still fragmented, inefficient, and often overlooked.

At a time when so many businesses are ripe for transition, there’s a huge opportunity to build something different.


Still early. Still figuring it out.

But the SME ownership ecosystem flywheel is turning and I’m so excited.
